Concealed Carry -- Inside-pocket Mag Carry
As a follow-up to the recent "Concealed Carry" posting, I thought I'd share an inexpensive but effective way to easily carry and conceal a loaded single-stack magazine in your pocket...
That's an Uncle Mike's Inside-Pocket Nylon Holster in Size #2, made for .380 Auto's. For just $10 online (and I think I paid even less when I found it in a shop while traveling), it works great for easily concealing an extra loaded magazine in your front or back pocket. Mine slips in next to my cell phone and it doesn't "print" and scream "Extra Mag!" like a mag could do if it wasn't covered.
The #2 should work for a wide variety of mags, possibly even double-stacks too, although I haven't tried it for that. The mag may not be as easily accessible as one that's carried up on your belt, but for deep concealment, it works really well for me.
Tight groups.

Good morning
That is a good idea. Save a lot of pocket wear and would tend to stay in one place fine. Should also help the ladies with the extra mag in a purse.

I prefer a tighter fit over the first round to keep lint out of the action.

Re: Concealed Carry -- Inside-pocket Mag Carry
When I get home I will post (will try to post) a pic of my 1911 mag clip. When loaded with one mag, it clips into my left pants pocket and looks like any other pocket-clip knife.

I made one from a scrap piece of kydex that holds two P3AT mags. 2.5" x 3.5" x 3/4"
Kind regards,

I use a small cell phone carrier, sized to fit my antiquated flip-phone. It holds the magazine snugly and has a belt clip that allows me to clip it inside my pocket if I wish.

Where did you get the 'scrap' kydex...?
Is it hard to work with...?

You might want to try Crossbreed Holsters. They make a clip holster that keeps it upright in your pocket.

Re: Concealed Carry -- Inside-pocket Mag Carry
I have made a couple of knife sheaths out of Kydex. A heat gun from Harbor Freight and some Kydex bought at Jantz Supply. Cut it to a little oversize for what you want with a small hand saw and wear welding gloves to work it by hand once the heat gun softens it. Use the item you are going to be putting in it as the form. Once it is fitted, you let it cool and glue it with a super glue or drill holes and rivet it together at the places needed so that it holds together. Not a difficult process at all. If you don't have welding gloves, you might be able to get by with leather work gloves. It is all in how much heat you can handle. The Ove Glove sold around Christmas time would even work. Kydex comes in different thicknesses, and is very useful. It can be sanded on the edges to be fitted perfectly to you after forming and sealing or riveting.

Here's the one I have:
http://www.snagmag.com/
Dead simple, positive retention, easy access, good concealment... at least with single-stacks.
