He still has to face trial for another double homicide. When his money is exhausted by his lawyers he will just be another convicted felon claiming he is innocent.
There is also an automatic appeals process built in to that conviction. I can't find the article, but I read that the judge called the jurors into his chambers after the verdict was read, and told them information of Hernandez's other alleged crimes and information that was not allowed to be presented during the trial. The jurors left feeling they had in fact come to the right decision. Pretty scary guy really. -Tutt

Yep, I got the reference... see above. I ain't a football fan. They're just a bunch of overpaid jock straps... and that's about as high as their standards are... and seemingly, what a lot of them think with... they've been babied since high school as long as they perform on the field like the mad dogs some of seem like. Pro athletes, actors, singers, comedians, entertainers all... what they do outside their respective field determines their worth... otherwise, they're parasites on the labor of working folk... however much I may like their work...

I readilly admit to being a fan of America's greatest current publicized sport -- Football (both college and pro)
My guess is Hernandez will spend life amongst other high profile prisoners --- otherwise, some young up and coming prison hood will want to make his bones by shanking him soon if he is put in with general population (Jeffrey Dahmer? -- not saying he didnt get what he deserved -- but he sure didnt last long when he was turned out)
Hernandez is a latino with money(or used to ) , a quasi celebrity , and possible prison yard influence , though , so who knows
My personal thoughts are not very nice though -- this guy is a turd of the highest order
