Found a Mossberg SSi in 308, NIB for $300, is this a decent rifle. Seemed heavy for a single shot. Anybody Have experienc with one of these.

Since i have all the levers i need, (not want) am looking for pistols. Have called on 7 different types. They are all sold within hours of the papers coming out!! Has any one else noticed this.Also missed a 375 XTR for $315. Am disappointed cuz i had the money burning my pocket.

is there a formula to figure out twists for caliber compared to weight. I.E. 30 cal 150gr RN could you get by with 1-14 or even 1-16. In looking at the .30 Herrett it shows 150 gr at 2000FPS and it stabilizes.(in Hornady 7th edition) I also shoot 170 Lee RN's at about 1300 with no evidence of keyhol...

well beem finding barrels in the $100-$150 range, and the most i spend on them afterward is: when i send them to mike bellm to be rechambered. Have orderd 3 from t/c custom shop and for all the BS you about T/C barrels these will shoot 1MOA when i hold right. the 45 auto barrel only does 2-3 inches ...

m the same way want a contender carbine barrel in .30 mauser and the .22 carbine and .30 carbine. still have 1000 308 mil-brass for my soon to be 308. and the 250 cobra (25/220 swift) is on my short list which is about 3 years old. yep it never ends.

went to the cabin in north minnesota, brought my Puma 357 and 3 loads. 1st load was saeco 180RF with 12.5 of 2400 3 shots into 1.5 inches shot to point of aim (POA) had nice thump to it , also penetrated 15' of dried poplar. 2nd load REM 147HP (for 9mm) with 10.5 of HS7 also did 1.5inches shot to PO...

I bicycled the Dalton hiway in July of 1997 i loved it up there. Does your company need more drivers. My goal is to live up there in 1-3 years. 2 hills i remember most from the raod was Gobbler's Knob and Camelback,and Attigun Pass was pretty good to!

everytime i go thru Eau Claire i stop at quik trip and get the Traders Post and then to Scheels and Gander. I usually headup the road and hit the guns shops in Chetek Rice Lake and Spooner and then go eat lunch or dinner with my aunt and uncle.
