Broke Back Mountain Cowboy

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

It’s a cold and dreary day, by Texas standards, so I donned my Carhart barn jacket and felt hat and went down to vote.

A young man was standing at the 100 foot mark and he had a black felt hat on too. He was electioneering and asked whether I was voting in the Republican primary. I said that I was and he said “oh yeah, I should have known…cowboy hat.”

I turned to him and said “you really can’t tell that way….i might be one of those Broke Back Mountain cowboys!” And I winked at him,

I still think his mouth is hanging open.

Good job Scott! They need to be shaken up!   I voted yesterday too. The gals asked me do you want the Republican ballot or the Democrat ballot. I asked them if they had a "Disgusted with Both" ballot and got a grin out of them.

Hey Scott……I’m sitting here with my wife b.s ‘en, yaking back and forth and I come across your post…..started laughing, especially about the “wink”……I showed mom and she starting laughing loud enough for you to hear it in Texas…..this was 20 minutes ago and she’s still laughing………

Scott if I recall you are a very big guy. I reckon that kid traded in a 380acp for a 44 mag carry gun right after that encounter :D

Oh, I’m big enough. I often forget how much space I take up.
