Pain in my arm.

Post by M. M. Wright »

A week ago Tuesday I had a ctscan with contrast and now the forearm where they put the IV is hurting. Feels like muscle pain from exercise but I can only remember sweeping the shop floor. My balance is terrible but I manage to avoid falls by hanging on to something or being close to something substantial. Getting old sucks.

Report this to you Doc. Folks can have some serious reactions to contrast dyes.

Big time! That stuff gives me a reaction like I've been rolling around in poison ivy. Awful, doesn't begin to describe it.
Definitely let your doctor know.

My mother was dead and brought back after getting a dye....Get checked out, and perhaps start taking aspirin to thin your blood a bit.
