Does the push button release mechanism only lock into one place or can it be used as a quick elevation adjustment? If it locks into any position I thought I might try one on my Mod 64 Win in 32WS for lever action silhouette shooting. If not I’ll just use what I have either a Williams FP or nice old Steel Redfield.
Or maybe someone has another idea. The rifle will accept tang or receiver sights but I would rather do a receiver sight.
Lyman #66 sight ?

The push button locks wherever you set the aperture bar. It really is a quick elevation aid.Marvin S wrote: ↑Sun Aug 09, 2020 3:57 pm Does the push button release mechanism only lock into one place or can it be used as a quick elevation adjustment? Joe is correct. You can set the default height to what you want, but make a quick adjustment just by depressing the button and lifting the sight. I have a 66A on my McPherson 454 Puma. It works just great. -Tutt https://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman-66- ... eep-sights
