Your question about cold weather gun lube I can answer from a fellow that calls himself coldfingers on the castboolits site and he's from north pole Alaska (quote) "excellent results with Barricade (Birchwood Casey ) The best part is do not gum up at minus 60 like other products I have tried. A little dab'l do ya, the stuff is very thin and flows into every nook and cranny it seems "

Well that's good enough for me from a guy that ought to know and has set the bar at 60* below:D
