Nice. Not sure I like the schnabel forend on the BLR. With the nickel plate, polished stainless, and the glossy Browning stock finish, you could probably use it as a beacon for the search party if you got lost in the woods.

I'm guessing the engraving is executed by machine in ... maybe 4 seconds. That thought always takes something away for me on these modern engraved production guns.

Too bad it's not being issued in 358 Winchester. Then you'd be onto something.

I do like it, but have one in 358 Win and as Rimfire said, its a shame they did not make it in that cartridge. 325 WSM would have been OK too. -Tutt

I do like them but this one is a bit overdressed for my taste.

Looks kind of sway-backed to me. No thanks.

The BLR I have is more than shiny enough. I don't think I'd care for a hunting rifle that has such a highly reflective finish.

Off hand, I'd say that Browning is making those things for the collectors, not hunters and shooters.

Looks more humpbacked than swaybacked to me.

I like it, although too pretty to use in the field. Looks like it belongs in a collectors cabinet. Plain guns suit me fine, and I dont mind them getting a little wear from use.

A little fancy for me, but I like BLR's where many here don't. The only wish I have for BLR's are the option for longer barrels. They are just a little muzzle light for me.

Here is the one I like:

I wish they offered it in matte stainless.

They finally found a way to make the ever popular old 1995 Lightweight even uglier.

I like it.
Looks like they changed from pins to screws holding in the guts too.
