Just plugging this in for comments and maybe a user review, eventually. I like the stock configuration much better than Rossi's, don't care for the aluminum receiver or finish on the standard Huckleberry. I might could live with the steel frame, case-colored version.
People were smarter before the Internet, or imbeciles were harder to notice.
I'd sure be tempted to try the steel-framed version as well, especially if they beat the Rossi price point. I see the stainless model for $610 on Gundeals.
I stopped at a gunshop near Mt Vernon MO yesterday. They had several stainless Rossis, $850 + tax. I bought 50 rounds of American Gunner 357 XTP ammo (58 bucks). I had other stops and couldn't stay long.
People were smarter before the Internet, or imbeciles were harder to notice.
I wonder if the ' case colors' are painted, just looked at their website and the spec sheet says the receiver is aluminum.
(My ipad has krapped the bed, and some sites don't play well with my phone so maybe I can't see where it shows steel?)

Me too. The Turk 92's stock configuration is so much better, it wouldn't even be a contest for me. I've had 3 Rossi 92s and all but one had problems from basic QC stuff, to gutting them like a fish just to get them to run.
Time will tell on the Gforce. The aluminum framed rifle doesn't interest me at all; but I am anxious to see some regular guy shooting reviews on any of them.

Sarge, I like the wood and finish on the steel model, the proportions look fine and I'm not offended by the barrel band architecture.
I wonder about the aluminum. All of the Standard Sporting Rifles [SPRs] are all-aluminum except where they aren't. The Bolt and Buffer Spring, etc. I don't know what isn't to like. Just a me-thing I guess. These discussions remind me of all the bargains I turned down in the past !
The Turks can make some interesting guns but I hate putting my money into Muslim companies, I have seen good and bad firearms coming from Turkey but like buying from China I am wary. Saying that my last shotgun was built in the USSR...
