I bought one for my brother in law a few years ago. His wife told me it was one of the best presents ever.

The newer bug-a-salt 2.0 might have the power to kill wasps. I have never tried either one, so it may or may not.

Not many flying demons right now in the cold, but after some pattern testing I'm not sure how well it will work on large wasps. Hopefully it will work on our yellow jackets but we'll have to see. If it doesn't, there is a more powerful version available. https://bugasalt.com/products/lawn-garden-edition
Not so good for indoors because it dispenses more salt and will splatter flies - which I wanted to avoid.

One of each would be fun. I use a CO2 powered airsoft pistol on grasshoppers and tomato worm caterpillars in the Summers. Hitting a 1 inch grasshopper from 15 feet with an airsoft pistol is a challenge for me.
The Bug-A-Salt would be fun, too.
