Farm Use Tough Sights?????

Post by Cast Bullet Hunter »

These were mentioned in a "336 Sights" thread title but not mentioned in the thread. Googled for them with zero results. Does anyone have a web site URL for the maker or seller? Just curious.

Whack off a 3/4" chunk, drill 2 holes in one leg for scope mount screws to pass into a Marlin 336 receiver top & a single hole in the other leg for a peep aperture. Round off the R/L top corners of the vertical leg.

Or you could try something like this $2 Junior Doughty solution.

Did you mean the Brockman one...???

Here's their website - http://www.brockmansrifles.com/sight_options.asp

I think MidwayUSA still sells them:

I also like their quick-detach scope ring that has a pop-up peep sight in it...

IMHO, Junior's "sight" is too high/vunerable.

I've used this Skinner LoPro on several different rifles.
