Stinking head cold!!

Post by Nath »

It is perfect bow hunting wheather here, windy, showery and cold. No body will be about and I have come down with a lousy head cold!

I knew no good would come from kissing on Christmas day! Mrs has had this bug for weeks now!

I am about to nuke it with a teal and chicken vindaloo curry, that'll do it!

Just great

I know what you mean Nath, I've been sick for about a week now and just starting to come out of it. Went hunting for a little while yesterday evening but didn't see anything, but it was good to be out.

I've recently discovered Dr. McGillicuddy "Fireball" cinnamon flavored whiskey. For medicinal purposes of course.

Ah, tis the season. Wife and daughter have been sickly, but so far I have managed to evade it. Your cure sounds like just the thing for it.

Sorry to hear that, Nath. I agree with your medicinal procedure. I've found it best, for me at least, not to take something to congeal my running nose, but get it running and flush the nasal cavities. If I take something to dry up my running nose it just turns into a big nasal infection and I'm sicker for a lot longer time. Good luck on kicking the cold. They suck.

I have it, half the people I know have it or have had it. Lasts about a week for most.

We've got a decent blanket of snow here in Indiana. I think I'll go out and try to bust a coyote in your honor, Nath! Hope you get to feeling better!

Nath, my Mrs said, "ask Nath for the recipe". So, how about posting the recipe for that?
Thanks,

Joe

Thanks ladyJ but my temps just gone up now

Joe, the vindaloo sauce came out of a tin
That was added to the fine diced teal breast fillets and pieces of a cooked chicken from yesterday. I added a hole chopped onion and a whole paprika/pepper.
A small amount of cooked rice added later and down it went. It was hot and helped for a few hours.

The teal was taken yesterday before this cold set in good from a thawing pool near home. Tia lifted about thirty off while I waited just out of view and I only got one with my double
My reactions were slowing down, we lifted a woodcock and I just watched it fly away the dog looking at me in disgust!
