another new-to-me lever gun......

Post by DarryH »

I bought this from a customer who knew I liked old guns.
It is a Crosman Model 99.
This is a lever action repeater, made to look like a Savage Model 99.
I believe these were made from about 1965 to 1970.
I need one new seal, but it works long enough to here it shoot
with a bit of authority.
Sorry for the lack of pics, but one of these next couple weeks, I am
going to get a bunch of pics of my toys so I can post them here.

Lever gun inventory as of today:
Daisy Model 499, BB gun
Daisy Model 95, BB gun
Daisy Model 1894, BB gun.
Crosman Model 73, BB/Pellet gun
Savage Model 99, 22 caliber Pellet gun
1892 Winchester, 24" round barrel, 32-20
1892 Winchester, 24" half round/ half octagon barrel, 32-20
1886 Winchester, 24" octagon barrel, letters to 1888, 45-70
1892 Winchester/Miroku, 24" barrel, 357Mag
1894 Winchester Centennial, 30-30.
9422 Winchester, 22LR
I THINK that is all. Still looking for the next one!

oops, I corrected the 1886 date, it was made in 1888, not 1898.

Good Shootin!!
