Ruger 1911

Post by JimT »

I was surprised the other week when a Ruger SR1911 with my name on it showed up! It turned out that some friends in The Shootists felt I needed one of these. The guns were built for The Shootists in 2015 while I was in Africa and I never had a chance to pick one up. The serial numbers all start with "SH" for Shootists Holiday.

I sighted it in with Cor-Bon 230 gr. JHP +P

I am liking this gun!!

Friends like the ones who did that for you are true friends who would be there for you whenever needed. We should all strive to be the sort who can earn friendships like those.
