I have heard others say they find their Hi-Point guns to be reliable. They are simple blowback operation, so dirt and other contamination has less effect than on a locking barrel design. The trigger is not smooth. BUT, they work. When you don't pay much for it and it works, then it can't be all bad. I don't have one, and my brother in law does. My best friend owns 3 plus 2 of the carbines. If I were to take one with me into the woods, I wouldn't feel as if I would be better off with a sharp stick. Like Forrest Gump says, pretty is as pretty does.

I'm a subscriber and regular watcher of the Demolitionranch videos and for some reason, this one just irritated me no end.

I was trained to care for and maintain firearms no matter what they are so this video just rubbed me the wrong way.
Still when that pistol fed and fired after being shot .... I was a bit amazed.
