Pallets of sod! aka Kentucky Bluegrass. Todd3/leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Loaded up the truck and went to the dump.

Loaded up some stuff at the farm supply store.

This afternoon I gotta load up a bucket and sponge and wash the truck.

Later I get to load up my stuff and go to the evening lever gun silhouette shoot. :D

Loaded up the truck and the Jeep and headed up to the woodlot.
Then loaded the foodplot with clover seeds.
Hope our lot is "loaded" with deer this fall.
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

Was gonna load for the 35/30 (loving that rifle) got a call that I needed to load my fat butt in the mustang and drive to Carlisle and do a priority complaint at one of the nursing homes. So it is now 10:30 pm and I am waiting for paperwork. Yea.....not.

What seems to be the problem with the Colt? I have, um guess I don't know how many. Several and the biggest problem I have is I load .429 bullets so have to avoid Remington brass as it's too thick to chamber in the Colts. Works fine in the Uberti 73s though. My usual load: 200 RNFP over 35 gr Goex ffg and a Circlefly wad. MM

Griff,
That is a problem with one shot kills, ammo lasts a long time.

300 Savage using Nosler's 150gr e-Tip lead-free bullet over Varget powder. This is in anticipation of the state-wide ban on lead ammo for all hunting in 2019.
Gotta keep the Model 99 running.
