Saw him in San Antone last December, excellent show. Folks in Texas go bat pelosi for Willie! :D

About 35 years ago Willie came to W Texas with three busses and a tractor trailer full of sound gear to play a benefit concert for a lady he didn't know to raise money for her new kidney. Ten minutes before the show a heavy rainstorm hit and canceled the outdoor show, sticking 600 cars in a muddy plowed field. A couple months later he came BACK to the same location and raised even more money for the sick lady. He showed (twice) that being a pot smoking flaming liberal or not, he was a fine neighbor to this woman.
