AR-style 12-gauge

Post by AJMD429 »

I have an 'AK-style' shotgun (Saiga), but I'd not seen an 'AR-style' one before.

It seems to shoot as fast and be as controllable as the Saiga, and the price is GREAT compared to the Saigas...

I like fine old doubles so don't get me wrong . But in the past I've been to our local club with one of the recent made Marlin 410 levers shooting skeet . And as you might imagine several people came running up shouting "you can't shoot a rifle here" . And I preceeded to tell them where to go . I also had a Remington Bakial 12 gauge 20" SxS , it was actually a rather nice looking little gun . I had bought it new for shooting buckshot . Had my gunsmith budday install Jerry Fisher swivel studs and a rather tastefull Pachmayer Old English Decelerator pad so all in all the gun was tastefull to say the least . Well a few of the good old smart a...s...s boys started making wise cracks about sawed of this or that . The gun came with screw ins so I could make it whatever I wanted , anyway after 2 rounds of skeet I hadn't missed but they all had several times . Seems the comments dried up a good bit .

Old geezers at gun clubs I've found (atleast around here) do more complaining then shooting .

I took my old 1932 Marlin Model 410 to our trap shoot once and got the same thing from a guy getting excited about me bringing a "rifle" to the trap shoot. But I can't complain since I brought it to get a rise out of somebody, and it worked!
