My New Levergun

Post by Hawkeye2 »

Shilo 1863 Sharps carbine, a gift from an old friend. You can believe I really appreciate it and am looking forward to shooting it next week.

Very nice! Heck of a gift as well. Now for range data!
Only guns that were ever given to me were basket cases needing very hard to find parts! Some I've brought back to working some not.

That is very cool!!! I can't wait to hear how it shoots. I've been on a 45-70 kick lately and can't decide on what I want.

Happy shooting!

 Possibly but it would probably take more years than you have left to work your way round to his good side.

That's a beauty but I'd get a bunch of brass upholstery tacks and decorate that baby up like some Comanche owned it. Hang a Pahoe on the barrel.
