Saying thanks tonight

Post by mack »

Just sitting here in front of the computer tonight saying a quiet thank you, feel free to join me.
Four years ago tonight my wife and I awaited word from our youngest son, (17 years old at the time), who was in Boston. It came in the form of a text message, " They won't let us out of the city, I'm OK, just got knocked down and a bloody nose, ears hurt, everyone else OK"
(And people wonder why I have an attitude.)

And the next time you got to wrap your arms around him and squeeze was one of the best of times...I am betting. That was a scary time. Glad he was mostly ok.

Yes, bad times can strengthen ties between family, friends, and others. A Blessed Easter.
