I shot one of the original BFRs back in the late '70s... it was not an endearing experience!

It actually is not too bad, it is heavy and felt recoil is less than my Contender ten inch 44Mag with top end loads :D

Yes, saw one, fired one and just had to have one, took me a while and a few rifle sales but I got there eventually :D :D

The 6 Lb bronze framed Phillips 45-70 was not bad to shoot.
In the High Desert of Southern Calif. ..."on the cutting edge of going back in time"...
