New Henry SilverBoy .22 Spotted

Post by Pete44ru »

.

When I wandered into a LGS yesterday afternoon, my (friendly/evil :D ) FFL unwrapped & showed me a new Henry SilverBoy .22, that he just received for stock.

While I'm not particualry a fan of the identical GoldenBoy config (after owning/shooting an early example), I have to say that this SilverBoy is stunning - with a fully-engraved receiver and wood (walnut) quality much nigher than normally seen. .

It has the same 24" octagonal barrel used on the GB & Frontier models, with the same high-polish bluing & dovetail-mounted iron sights.

The furniture (BP, etc) was also silvered.

Since I wasn't interested, I didn't ask his price - normally well below MSRP (usually his cost, incl S&H, + 10%)

I think the Henry offering is called the Silver Eagle; Uberti has the Silverboy.

You're most likely correct - The FFL told me "SilverBoy", but I didn't read the box label.

Thanks !

Sounds nice, but, what spots were on it? You said it was spotted.

I was just being silly. After some of the other posts on here lately, I was hoping to put some humor back into the place.
