Re: Cat Populations Should be Controlled
1. If the cat belongs to a neighbor, using a live-trap and keeping kitty out of sight in the tool-shed for a couple days, while they worry, then 'finding' the kitty in the trap you set to protect your chickens or wild birds, and returning it to them, usually works. They'll usually keep it inside aft...

Unfortunately, about 30% of the population around here is of the 'statist' type, and would just LOVE those kinds of restrictions to be enacted here in the U.S., and another 60% are too 'involved' in televised sports, trips to the shopping mall, or Entertainment Tonight, to have a clue what it is all...

It's always fun when there's deep snow, and the accipter swoops in, because the instant before it happens, most of the prey-birds will zoom off the feeder and bury themselves in the snow. Don't forget the option of "1x" sights of the holographic or even red-dot type; they can be shot with both eyes open, are super-fast to use, and for those who are having to get away from iron sights due to less visual depth-of-field as they get older, the hologrphic sights 'project' the do...

Glad you got a parts-source. Although I know ANY sight could be ruined with the right accident, one reason I relegate tang sights to the 'target shooting gun' role is that fragility. Much harder to destroy a Williams FP (or Lyman, or other brand) receiver sight. The most 'indestructable' sights I've...

Unlikely any liquid is leaking out of the scope - all that's inside should be nitrogen. Is the scope still clear? The Williams FP 'ghost ringed' by removing the aperture (after sighting in off the bench with the aperture in place), with the factory gold bead, works fine for me. I think most of the .32-20's have side-tapping from the factory, and thus can use the Williams FP-94 sight, but if yours isn't side-tap...

BTW, 1-in 30 seems slow and it is for handguns but when you increase the velocity as you do from handgun length barrels to rifle length barrels the twist can be slower.
