Re: 45 long colt loads for Uberti 1873 repro
Thanks Scott. Every now and again someone will post an old thread I commented on like this one. And I am amazed at my past ability to make cohesive informative posts. I haven't been shooting in many years, moving to the mid west has destroyed that part of my life. There is an old saying: "If yo...

Re: 94AE ejector, yet again
I have an 1985 vintage 94AE in .45 Colt. In well over 3,ooo rounds ( haven't fired it in nearly 10 years), there was never a failure to extract or eject ANY kind of .45 Colt case Unless I short stroked the lever. I would pull the bolt out, and make positive sure the ejector is straight in it's slots...

Take care.

I've bought lots of old cast bullets that have various amounts of lube in them. I just run them though my RCBS sizer, fill them with lube and load 'em up. I like lots of lube on my bullets.

Hi I'm new to this forum. This discussion caught my attention as I am trying to find loads for the same bullet. I have Marlin 1894 Cowboy, 2005 vintage, that feeds full length ammo loaded with Keith style bullets without issue. No modifications have been done to it. At one time I had a crappy Rossie that had to be worked over to feed anything. But when worked on it would feed full length Keith bullet ammo and...

Not Perry Mason or a jail house lawyer, nor do I know much about laws, however some years ago on some forum there was a discussion about a strange looking serial number on a rifle ( a 94 Win, I think ). It turned out to be a BATF issued serial number on a rifle where the original number had been rem...

That was very interesting. Other than the extreme care used to prevent further damage I didn't really find the design of that rifle overly complicated.

Scrummy, It most likely wasn't the priming tool, it was the Federal primers. I use a lot of Federal primers and never had any problems.
