Where did you see this rifle? In a museum? Such an example would bee exceedingly rare and valuble.
Even the Winchester made Lee 1895 straight pull rifles are very expensive, and difficult to find in good condition.
Keep us posted.

I'm not certain, but I believe the process is similar to making a home-made "Foul-out" style bare cleaner. A tub, filled with water, that has a certain solution of vinegar added, with stripped copper wire and a power supply, such as a charger for a phone or what not. I built one about 5 ye...

I too would be interested in finding a way to cast a projectile that can be used in a .22 air rifle. Not to drift too far off topic, but 2 days ago (Saturday), while at the range, a few air rifle shooters came to the rifle range house to warm up (it has a woodstove; the air rifle range is kept at 65...

That is a home made bailer. I have used a smaller one many times developing monitoring test well. The video made small mention of clearing the well. Thanks for the observations. Is that scope rail just screwed on, like a Marlin? Or is it integral? Its handy to have it already there, if you immediately intend to scope it, but I would want to take it off if using peep or iron sights.

I do not believe trapdoors are considered stronger than rolling blocks. Rolling blocks were commonly built in 7X57 Spanish, and even 8X50R Lebel during WWI. I don't think anyone would do that, even with a modern replica, on a trapdoor action. Not to say I don't admire the trapdoor. I do. It is still...

The wood on the buttstock is really beautiful. Also looks like a new pad was fitted to it fairly recently. How different would this loading be from a black powder .38 S&W. I know the S&W bullet is only 148gr, so it might go faster. But loading a 200gr bullet over black powder is entirely feasible. Wonder if anyone has tried that lately, in one of those old break-top revolvers.

Unless you are really in love with that full choke, you may want to consider having the full opened to a modified. If you end up still not liking that, you can have your original barrel threaded for tubes by Carlson's or Briley.

Just my opinion, but the Weaver scope bases that are basically standard for a Win 94AE are just ugly. Wish somboey made a reasonable set of QD bases for the Win 94 AE that look OK with the scope dismounted. The Weaver bases look OK as long as the scope stays on.
