Here in So. Cal I look for morels end of Ap. There is only a few places and its at 7000 ft. The Sierra foothills are pretty good also but theres alot of competition for them. Out of nowhere I was thinking ,I wonder if anybody ever thought
of chambering a Marlin for a .375 JDJ.I think it is a necked down
.444 marlin.That cartrige in levergun would be great.

Gun Blast.com . Just saw the words leverguns and had to check

Was looking at some old ads and saw one for the Win. Timber
Scout in .44 or .30-.30 . Anybody have one? Have not seen or
handled one.I know they dont make them any more.I like the
semi pistle grip,18 in. barrel,sight combo. they are set up for
a scout scope also.

Am I the only one who doesnt like the hooded front sights
on the factory Marlins....

skunks are the worst. I have droped them with .22 , bow,rifle but
that #2 shot is the ticket. Their spray is some kind of oil.I have
heard that liquid soap mixed with peroxide will breakdown the oil
rid the smell.Just when you think its gone water will make it come
back.
