That would be a Husqvarna M40 IIRC. Correct, and the photo in the OP is that of a Swedish Husqvarna M40, not a Finnish M35. Noah Yes, I grabbed that from the quoted article without bothering to find the real thing. The 'shipment' turns out to be nine L35 pistols. Photo of an L35 now added.

That also works with an SMLE mag. I'm still trying to come up with a magazine mod that will allow ten rounds of 30-30 to be loaded (and stay in) but it's not proving easy.

Don't really have a good reason for doing it but a bolt .30-30 has a certain appeal as does the LE action....

Express sights are regulated to a particular load. This entails filing each leaf to match the load at each range setting. Once done that's it, although it is possible to use other loads by changing the front sight.
