Re: External Hammer Shotguns: "CZ Hammer Classic"

That's a fine looking shotgun. Redoing the checkering and refinishing will push it over the top. Hoyt is currently relining a 12 ga. Belgan hammer double for me, $125 a tube, no choke. It's too thin to do as a 12 but he might be able to do a 16, won't know till he starts on it. If he can't it'll com...

I saw it at the Colonial Theater in Augusta, Maine in the very early 50s, possibly earlier, and can still remember scenes from it. I would love to see it again. We bought a used Kubota BX24 last spring, bucket, backhoe, belly mower and bushhog. It's a little small but I have plenty of time and it replaces a pickaxe, shovel, wheelbarrow and rake. My wife is actually using it more than me, says it's fun.

You are talking about a forcing cone modification that any gunsmith can do and for far less than the cost of a reamer. I have the kit from Brownells to do .36, .38/.357, 9mm, .44 & .45 but it is expensive and you can't justify it for just a handful of revolvers. Taylors & Co. ( https://www.t...
