I won`t apologize for the 81 as i think it`s a classic but i do agree a lever would of fit in here better.
I might go out again later and carry the 76. :)

Had one Bill but traded it off for a Marlin 95 Cowboy. It is a fun neat gun, i bought a bunch of bulk ammo from Cabela`s that shot good without severe recoil. I wish it would stick around for deer opener next weekend but they`er forecasting mid 40`s all week :(
I love the first snow fall, it is pretty and kinda makes ya feel good.

At our prevous home we had a barrel stove in the basement. There was a door we could open and we would also throw the wood in and stack it in rows in the basement. Thanks pard, i like cutting wood in the fall after the leaves start falling and the temps drop.
I hate cutting wood when it`s hot and buggy.
We even snag a tree or two in the winter if the snow doesn`t get to deep.

Sears catalogs for you know what in the out house may not be out of the question. God have mercy on those that relied on corn cobbs. :shock: :lol: Well, I've used a lot of stuff in my time, and I'll take a corn cob over some of that glossy paper any day. :D No corn cobbs only pine cones :shock: :lol:

made a aperture from a Allen head bolt. The size is a little smaller but it screws in tight. I have one and like it, don`t shoot it much but it is dern accurate. Kinda heavy for what it is, the golden one has better sights than the standard version.

Sight came yesterday but the mounting screw is some weird thread so had to order the screw from a company that is making them. :shock:
So it will be a few more days till i get it on.

I remember one of those planes that the pilot removed himself from, it flamed out at the end of the run way landed in a field and when it came to a stop the pilot was out and running across the field. :shock:

Steve, the snow sits on top of the stove and never melts, it`s that well insulated. It only has to be filled with wood twice in a 24 hr. period, once at night and once in the morning. I`m thinking it was the 104`s that had ejection issues. I think they did have a number of problems, but probably not the one you are referring to. The F-104 shot the pilot out the bottom instead of the top. :shock: Well someone will have to help my poor memory, they had them at Luke in the early 70...

That floor heat would be a good way to go, this stove sits to close to the house and i had to have it inspected before they would insure my house.
Yep the bad thing about all these type stoves is if the power goes off so does the stove :roll:
That is why we have a old fashion cook stove. :)

The stove is forced air, there`s two 12 inch pipes going from the stove into the house . One hot air one cold, a squirrel cage fan runs all the time circulating the air through the stove.
