I've never used them turned around like that Lenn but I keep a bleach jug, with the side cut about 1/4th away, full of them for use on a lot of stuff. When we cover up at a gun show we use them to clip the covers together.

Cool ride Bro! Snowing like crazy here most all day. Right at 32 and the ground is still warm but so hard and long it is building up on the grass and leaf covered ground. Bet we've had 6 or 8 inches already but only a couple on the ground at this point. Supposed to turn around to night and come back...

I got the lid off that big can and it's still got oil in it. When the jobber truck came by that can is what the bulk oil came in. We poured that into the lubster.

A lot of good questions and answers. My experience is that Winchester barrels are way big. .431 for my 1886 mfg 73 and the same for my Miroku 73 while the two Uberti 73s I have are .429. It could have been. Twice I set my trigger and squeezed off the shot while the cross hairs were on a doe with twin fawns. They were pretty small so I figured they needed their Maw.
