I've had a ton of them myself. The tube doesn't bother me at all. The noise? Yeah, that's annoying as hell and I always end up with a bad headache. Plus lying on what is essentially a board is no fun with my back!

At that point you need Superman flying up to push it back onto the bridge deck!

Oh and the grips in that first photo look awesome!

The .30 M1 Carbine, .357 Magnum, and .44 Magnum ones I've shot were all more accurate than I can be offhand. Never tried them in a Ransom Rest to really see. All are old models.
