Re: If you had just one .44 mold ...
I used a Lyman 420421 for many years until I got a Puma and had feeding problems. I discovered Ranch Dog's design molds (via Lee) and bought 2, one 240 gr. RNFP and a 265 gr. RNFP. Very good, accurate shooting in all 5 of my 44 Magnums. My Rossi 92 seems to "prefer" the 265 gr bullet (cast...

How did they miss this one?
I watched an old movie tonight that the BLM and NAACP, and far left democrat politicians, etc., must have missed. It is "Tarzan of The Apes" produced in 1932. It shows African natives (also with newsreel film clips from the 1930s) that were not college graduates nor politicians, pro athlet...

I tried scouting, and it wasn't the program that bothered me, it was the "scouts" that were always acting up that turned me off. The Scout Master couldn't control as the meetings were a waste of time. Don't know about other areas but here in So. Oregon there are TV ads for legal services f...

I don't have a Henry, but my Puma was in need of something. So I added a leather, lace on butt pad. Kinda kept the essence of a lever gun... It's all about the dollar. Americans normally don't/won't spend any more money than necessary and vendors here save money by buying from China, even when shipping halfway around the world. If a vendor or manufacturer can save on parts, even a few cents per unit helps "the bottom line" whic...

Re: .38 in .357 lever leading question
I shot my first 38 Special in '68 and started reloading for it in '69. I got my first 357 Magnum in '71. I had way more brass, handloads and even some factory ammo in 38 Special than 357 (and at that time was on a very tight budget), so naturally I fired 38 Specials in my 357 Magnum. I reloaded main...
