I've been on gun/reloading forums since '08 and the largest area for misunderstanding is the written word. You can't see the face of the responder when you read his "attack" or "offensive" comment. There are more than one or two ways to take a comment, as we can't hear the feller...

I owned a really nice R 100. Quiet and smooth (I owned a Harley prior to the BMW). The only thing I didn't like was the seat got a bit hard after about an hour riding, but that was a minor inconvenience on a long ride. It was a daily rider and I took it on a couple trips to Morro Bay from LA, and it...

There's more to bullet's "rated" velocity than how hard it is (Most commercial bullets are way too hard. Somehow the idea got spread around that "harder is better" and the commercial casters just supply what the newer cast bullet shooters "want"). Bullet to gun fit is p...

The older Hunters were pretty good boats. Not exactly world cruisers, but good boats none the less. The newer ones kinda "cheaped out" and became entry level family/weekend boats. One was berthed next to my boat and I just didn't care for the cheap look (rigging seemed small, spars seemed ...
