These are great little carbines made by Miroku as already pointed out. Even better than the later ones made by Miroku and stamped "Winchester" because they do not have the ugly tang safety and rebounding hammer.

Browning BL22 vs BL2. Micro Midas stock question
For those of you who have handled both of these: Is the Micro Midas stock noticeably shorter than the standard length stock? The Micro Midas intrigues me because of its handier, shorter 16" barrel but I'm not a small person and therefore am not sure HOW MUCH of a difference there would be as fa...

For those of you shooting 35 Remington in a 336, how do you find the reliability considering the fact that it's a rimless case? I'm not in the know as to how the 336 internals are set up to function with both rimmed and rimless cases. Someone a little further up in this thread mentioned the "Ma...

There used to be one made in Poland by Pioneer Arms that was a good quality, heavy duty piece. Not sure what happened to that one but Pioneer Arms is apparently still in business. They make among other things AK47s but supposedly those are not good quality.

Double barrel 12 gauge with hammers loaded with shot. No compressed springs to worry about like in a hammerless gun or with ammo in the mag tube. By using #6 (or similar sized shot), there is less fear of it going through walls than there is with slugs or buckshot. As a backup gun, it's a 38 Special...

As for replacement stocks, MAYBE one from a Browning B92, Rossi or Italian 92 will work. But they could have metric dimensions so how close the fit is would need to be investigated.
