Colt SAA 44 Spec/44-40 for sale

WTS in Oklahoma. 7 1/2", third gen, 44 Spec/44-40, Colt Single Action Army. Comes with original box and is almost as new though I have fired it with the 44-40 cylinder. Action is tight and correct. Only defect is a light scratch under the barrel from removing the base pin I suppose. Barrel is marked...

A piece of hose on an old arrow shaft to stick down in the case. Just like changing the oil on a boat. Use your pickup or car to hook a vacuum line to it's manifol...

I shoot the 45/70 on whitetail and use a 300 grain bullet over a case full of ffg Goex. Lots of fire and smoke and it is good for 200 yards. Sometimes I go to the 45/90 (same balistics) with that same 300 grain gas checked bullet. It is an 86 from 1916 and I have a tang sight adjusted for 200 yards ...

I'd move the panel on the forearm forward. The examples shown have it too far back to be useful. When shooting multiple targets fast you need that weak hand as far forward as you can get it.
