My guide gun does not like lead bullets. I get good accuracy with any jacketed bullet I use. Best accuracy has been with a Remington 405 grain jsp around 1500 fps at the muzzle using IMR 30-31. It is a soft bullet, but it seems to do just fine on medium sized hogs.

Congratulations. My mom is a triplet. Just my experience, but twins and triplets seem to be able to find mischief that others don't think of. Sort of a mental connection that doesn't require communication.

For deer, a 405 grain jacketed soft point at somewhere around 1500 to 1700 fps would probably go all the way through at 200 yards or less. Middle of the Marlin power levels are plenty powerful, accurate, and don't beat on your shoulder.

There is only 1 little place where the Surgeon went in, and it was closed with a drop of surgical glue. Not even a stitch needed. She can already hold a coffee mug and the numbness from before surgery is gone. Thanks for all the prayers.
