I use the Lee collet die only on firearms where the bullet has no crimp grooves at all. My experience is that a standard crimp is better if you have crimp grooves. I am only using 1 bullet anymore without a crimp groove, and that is in 30-06.

As far as eye drops go, the insurance companies say you can get 20 drops out of each milliliter. I wonder how the pencil pushing penurious Scrooges think that it is possible to never miss your eye with a drop? Hitting your eye with a drop is not the easiest thing in the world.

You can get carbide drill bits at Harbor Freight. Use a drill press and a vise. The tungsten bits snap if they are put in a bind. I like the ones for rotary tools.

I am older than you and no grandkids yet. 27 year old daughter still refuses to move forward ftom her high school years and 22(23 in a month) year old son is totally focused on his career. Some young female patrolman will have to handcuff him and take him home to get his attention.

I gave my old 870 Wingmaster to my son and had it professionally fitted to his right handed-left eye dominant shooting. It is fixed at modified choke. Some of those older guns are so good that they can be passed down and still look great. Your 11-87 will probably last longer than you will.
