More than likely a combination of dry metal surfaces weak old springs and fighting the hammer extension. I would 1. Pop the buttstock off clean and oil any surface to surface areas. 2. I had a hi point carbine for a couple weeks when another forum member needed it. I actually liked it alot, except for only 10 round mags. OTOH my puma with a 16 inch barrel in 357/38 will fill the same role.

I am sure your method works better :mrgreen: . But in the old days we used a wet tea bag on the tooth that was sore and it helped alot. I carry three tea bags in my first aid kit. You can make a warming tea, who knew, tooth pain, and dry tea will catch a spark and work up to flame.

Remind her of how harmful the sun is on skin and look at the amount of time you wont have to be out there mowing. IIRC you had some skin issues already, so its not having a new tractor, its a medical device. Tell her your Registered Nurse recommended it.

LGS had the extractor I needed and it will need a little tuning but worked right out of the box. I put a new empty in the action with a spent primer sitting proud, eased the action, then a little bit of force but it seated the primer like I did it on a press, very cool.
