You mentioned flyrod making as a possibility. There are classes all over the US for building split bamboo fly rods. I figure if a guy can make a split bamboo flyrod then making any other type of rod ought to be a snap.

My SIL loves his firehose pants; he has both the regular and the fleece lined versions and is thinking of buying a couple more pairs. He refers to them as his GSD pants because when he wears them around home he, "GETS 'STUFF' DONE".

I don't know if there are Osage oranges where you live but they had them where I lived in Indiana and Ohio littering roadsides. They are well known for keeping away a variety of creepy crawlies. If you can get some just cast them about in the crawl space and repeat yearly.

My wife had both eyes done in the early 90's, both far and she has had no trouble to date. Her sister had both eyes done in the late 80's; she had one far lens and one near lens implanted (I don't know why) and hasn't had any trouble either. My wife wears glasses to read and her sister wears correct...

I have a friend who uses his for rabbit hunting with beagles. Shots are usually close range and he likes the fact that he can carry a whole box of shells in one pocket easily.
