Black Hills Ammo
Does anyone have any experience with the Black Hills re-manufactured ammunition? I have seen some of it loaded with a 60grain V-Max and if it is good stuff figured I might pick some up. I know they make good stuff just wasn't sure about the "re-manufactured" ammunition. I'm guessing its as...

I use a plain belt (over top of my belt that I wear in my pants) with a cartridge slide. I carry my 5.5" Superblackhawk in 44Mag in a Tom Three Persons strongside. I've worked out in the woods on a hunting lease and walked through the woods and brush with this rig without any problems. RustyJr

I like my GLOCKS (23-40S&W) and carry one on and off duty daily. That being said the GLOCK 45's don't fit my hand so when it comes to something in 45ACP I fall back on the 1911. Fits my hand like a glove.

5.56/223 1:8 Rifle Twist
I am looking into picking up a AR15 Carbine (16" barrel) for a patrol rifle. My question is will the 1:8 twist stabilize and shoot the 55gr bullets accurately?
Thanks in advance,

Brass
I was wondering if there is any difference between the Winchester or Remington brass as far as longevity or not stretching. I'm mainly thinking in terms of 270 Winchester as that is the main rifle cartridge that I plan on loading for.

Around my area you can't even find primers. I would say not to get rid of the primers under any circumstances and just look else where for the brass.

I'd prefer a 44mag or heavy loaded 45 Colt but given what you have Id say the 357 with some 180 Grain hard cast loads. You'll want all the penetration you can get if you run into Ole Grizz

I'll stick with my AR. As others have mentioned ammo is cheaper (if you can find it now) and more importantly you have less chance of over penetration in more populated areas with the 5.56/223.
