Way OT-Flying in Mexico.

Any one here fly in Mexico in the recent past? I have tried without success to find the aircraft I flew in some years back.In 1999 to 2000 I flew Aerolitoral in the areas of Monterrey,Torreon and San Luis Potosi. The plane was a twin engine prop(possible turbo prop) plane that seated one passenger to...

Make sure no oil is getting into the air chamber as the gun will diesel and sound as loud as a .22 or .22 mag. This is not good for the gun unless it is purpose built for dieseling.

Re: OT Birch wood stock

It may not be what you are looking for but I use a strong solution of potassium permanganate and paint it on beech or birch several times until I get the desired effect. The permanganate is a strong oxidizer and oxidizes or "burns" the wood making it darker and darker.

I tested a bunch of oils and waxes on steel parts that were left outside in the weather for two weeks.I looked at each piece every day and noted changes in the metal. One oil stood out ,that was Rem Oil.That is also what I use in my Smith revolvers as a lube and it works as well as or better than most.
