I have a 77/22Hornet, and it is well-made. Haven't reloaded for it yet to see potential accuracy.

Kinda prefer the K-Hornet, and would really like a 17 Hornet for target shooting. Could turn the Ruger into either I suppose. K-Hornet really easy.

With cameras, when the lens gets big enough, the mount is more stable if it attaches to the lens vs the camera body; maybe the same applies to gun barrels and receivers.
