Re: WANT! Win 95 in 7.62 Russian!
I wouldn't hold my breath. The Miroku 95s never were all that popular (I do have two). The chances of them taking on a Rusky 95 are slim to none. Even less likely is that they get the cartridge feeding right with the stripper clip guide. And it takes more than just the guide. The lips of the magazin...

I have a 44sp on the new smaller frame that I really like. Liked it enough that I ordered a 45 convert thinking that it was also on the same frame. Nope, the frame is significantly larger than the 44, not as large as my super Blackhawk but larger. So I'm in the same boat. I agree that 23K sounds pla...

Well it sorta already is near the same. Only difference is that the RH got under the wire by being designated a "handgun"; the shockwave and the TAC14 got by being called "other firearm". I don't know how they got away with that but I got one before they (ATF) changed their minds...

That last comment hits the point. The dimpling only serves a purpose in the subsonic realm; it does no good at supersonic (~1150fps+ depending on altitude) speeds. Another "old wives tale" is the wasp waist which is only has any positive affect in the high subsonic to trans-sonic range, th...

I have built up a significant number of points with Cabelas and wanted to purchase a handgun they had on sale. I was informed that they will not ship to an FFL dealer, only to a local Cabelas. Yup shootin shells or at least mine shot them. A spring was in the case and you pushed the bullet into the case, compressing the spring. Pretty much agree with others as to a throating reamer. The problem is the SAAMI spec which calls for very little leade (the taper from chamber dimension to the barrel dimension). American manufacturers have over time become a little more lax and made the dimensions more compatible with the componen...

I'm curious as to why heating the tape would be needed...does it 'fuse' it somehow...? Sorta shrinks the tape onto the bullet.
