They say that the 1911 is a little weaker than the 1931 model. But there is no reason not to use the GP11 ammo as many swiss target shooters do.

Streetstar: Yes, it is the target carrier brake system that you see in the picture. The range has returning targets at 100 meters and 150 meters.

I have a Winchester 94 BB 307 Winchester. As any BB Winchester in my collection they are great leverguns. I would not like missing a single one. The 307 Winchester is very accurate. Rjf415. You made the right decision. Stay with the GP 100. Good you have some friends with Blackhawk Rugers so you could try the gun before you bought it.
As OS wrote, it's easier to get good groups with a DA than with a SA revolver.

Pete - Norma N204 works nearly as IMR 4350 and you can working up loads with the IMR 4350 loading data.

Someone offered me a Colt Cowboy 45 LC 5 1/2". It's not easy to find information about this gun. Maybe you can give me some firsthand input. What would you think shall I rather buy a Ruger Vaquero or USFA?
