They say that the 1911 is a little weaker than the 1931 model. But there is no reason not to use the GP11 ammo as many swiss target shooters do.

I have a Winchester 94 BB 307 Winchester. As any BB Winchester in my collection they are great leverguns. I would not like missing a single one. The 307 Winchester is very accurate. I bought the USFA 1873 44/40 Winchester with the 44 Special conversion. It's a great gun and very accurate. I could not be happier. I get the chance to buy a new USFA 1873 5 1/2" 44/40 dual chambering 44 Special. Can anyone give some input? What about the bore difference of the 44 WCF (0.427) to 44 Special (.430). Thanks.

Rjf415. You made the right decision. Stay with the GP 100. Good you have some friends with Blackhawk Rugers so you could try the gun before you bought it.

Someone offered me a Colt Cowboy 45 LC 5 1/2". It's not easy to find information about this gun. Maybe you can give me some firsthand input. What would you think shall I rather buy a Ruger Vaquero or USFA?
