I hate those pictures also, Hobie .. and I have a hard time looking at them. I tend to look away. Which is exactly why I chose them for today. If we start looking away it becomes too easy.

The wadcutter run hot will ruin a lot of meat. I can attest to it from personal experience.

As a kid I killed lots of rabbits, cats, dogs, squirrels and so with 38 Special wadcutter handloads. They worked just fine.

Miller is correct. During our Safari in South Africa in June one of the members, Al DiPrima, used a Marlin in the new .308 Marlin to take some of the game. It worked quite well.
