as i recall the first year the mini revolver came out, someone, i believe with freedoms blessing, made up special buckles that would hold the little standard mini revolver. they were fancy custom southwestern style buckles.....being cheap i got the standard buckle and the mini gun with 22 mag and 22...

i had the steel frame version years ago, and it weighed as much as a rifle, so with factory loads it was actually much more tame than a 454. i think it weighed nearly 7 pounds.

you can have an american ffl dealer import for you, it takes a 4-6 weeks wait usually, i have done it from england, but it might be logistically tough from where you are.

Sixgun, i have just 'test fired' it, but i have loaded up proper ammo with a couple different bullets, and hope to get it to the range in april,
will definitelhy report the results

Cable, Thanks for the additional education! A buddy of mine has an 1876 in the same caliber as yours but it was re blued back in the 1950's. Nice feeling gun, I'm a Marlin man but still admire those nice old Winchesters for sure. The Kings patent stamping etc... sure make those old guns interesting...

i use lace one pad with sorbacoil inner pad; works great, gives me a little greater pull length, which i need, doesn't alter the gun permanently, cost less, looks 'authentic', protects the buttplate and toe of stock.......need i say more, i am convinced this way is best for me.

we didn't shorten the barrel, just turned it down in to the half oct/half round style. cut the magazine tube down, and i had found a button magazine plug from an original somewhere, as well as the buttplate. the barrels on the first run of repros were all 24"; it seems to balance just perfectly...
