The older we get, the more we respect the lowly 22LR !
I was out this past Week end with my Ruger SS 4 3/4" and my vintage Hi-Standard R-106 six inch double nine, Revolvers.

Both are very accurate, love to shoot Golf balls and spent plastic 12 G shells. Digger Rats are a bonus.

The Centennial's are starting to show up at sales. I bought the one I had converted from an estate sale for $50.00. The "New in the box" from a Gun show in Wickenburg, AZ, $175.00 . Sold it last year for $500.00.

The Belgium's are one of the best reproductions ever made.

Sold my Marlin 94/44 Cowboy several years ago. The bore slugged at .432". Bought a Rossi 92/44 with a .429" bore. The piece shoots very nice groups with 240 gr SWC. at 100 yards. This would be the very last Rifle I would ever sell.

Never regretted selling the piece.
