Little more velocity with the rifle, not harder to carry. Accuracy had been very good in the 20", 24", and 26" I have. Think I prefer the 20".

I have seen that version repeatedly. It shows the Nissan riding in the HOV lane with the motorcycle closing to kick the door with an immediate reaction by the driver of the car.

The motorcycle appeared to be slightly behind the car. He should have disengaged and backed off.

Been down through there more than 1000 times. There is a lot of lane changing that goes on and a park and ride at the bottom of the hill. An estimated 70,000 - 80,000 commuters come through there in the morning to LA the I-5 north and south is just ahead. Traffic often 80 mph. You have to watch it. ...

Re: 44-40

Here is the point/s, the attraction is nostalgia. But a cylinder mouth smaller than the barrel, which by the way is the wrong size for 44-40 is a recipe for inaccuracy. A barrel change to the correct size or a cylinder change is in order. Or forget how it shoots and revel in nostalgia although, it i...

OK there Logger, keep that cylinder so that you have a 44-40 but take the Dirty Harry approach who said he shot a light Spl for better accuracy. In my Model 24 S&W I loaded 2400 in one gr. increments from 11.0 grs. to 17.0 grs.. On a hunch I also loaded some at 12.5 grs.. That load proved to be the most accurate of the 6,000 rds. I put through it.

13.0 grs would be fine I would opine. I shot this group offhand at 25 yds.
