My place, built in 1917, had a water pump like that on the drainboard when I bought it 40 yrs ago. We have since built a 2 story log house on the land and torn the old place down. The outdoor toilet remains out in front of our current home, though we now use it only for storage of flammables. Indoor...

Is that CZ American a 452 or 453? I've got a 453 in .17HMR. With the set trigger it is literally a tack-driver. The other morning I took 3 shots at prairie dogs (75-125 yeds); 3 dead dogs--they didn't even move. As soon as I began to shoot the bald eagles were in the air. They've been feeding on a d...

Good notes on the 'possum, but there are other mammals with more teeth---toothed whales or porpoises are examples. Also, possums have only 50 teeth distributed as follows: i5/4, c1/1, pm3/3, m4/4 (X2 for both right and left sides) = 50.

Actually, those are thirteen-lined (I didn't count the stripes myself) ground squirrels. They are NOT chipmunks-which have stripes on the sides of the face.
Both ground squirrels and chipmunks are members of the squirrel family- Order-Rodentia; Family Sciuridae.
Hope that clears it up.
