Simple, short answer. SKS. Educate yourself on the variations. Try to find in local shops, Price might be better. I've had great service with Norinco. The Russians are way over priced. Romanian versions are really nice. Lots of info on the web detailing light primer strikes with the Mini30using mil ...

I foolishly traded off a Charter Arms version some years ago. With CCI MiniMags off the bench it would group 1 1/2". The only thing I did not like was the necessity of having three hands when re assembling the receiver after a detail strip and cleaning session. I got it used for practicly nothi...

Watched it last night. Outstanding film. They took the time to develop the characters. Film is about as accurate as they get. A lot of detail. If you know your history then you will like it. I have no doubt the reason that cnn panned it is because they're only into instant self gratification. These ...

darn near everyone I sold. The standouts are an old model single six .22lr/.22mag and Remington 700 in '06. I'm planning on drastically thinning the herd, but the Single Six with both cyls will never be one of them. It was 30 years ago. I still kick myself over it. Money was tight, family to feed.

Letting the calipers hang by brake line may cause internal failure of brake line once agin causing brakes to drag. Bleeding the brakes as a regular maint. item always a good Idea. Check the r...

I Think 30-06 Would be my first choice. I might go with the 300 Win. Mag. only if most of my shooting was at extended ranges. Although Mod. 70's are nice I would go with a Tikka T-3 lightweight in stainless and synthetic.
